The scope of work includes the rehabilitation and strengthening of the existing road and structural works, which will include the upgrading and widening of several bridges and major culverts, owing to the widening of the road, as well as the improvement of the hydraulic capacity of the structures. The vertical alignment of the road will also be improved at the structures and the road will be widened to accommodate passing lanes or wider surfaced shoulders.
