Project Description
The green hydrogen project has been identified as strategic in the Northern Cape’s green hydrogen strategy and has been classified as a national Strategic Infrastructure Project.
The project aims to produce 500 000 t/y of ammonia by 2030.
The first phase will result in the production of 72 000 t/y of green ammonia with a green hydrogen content of about 12 900 t/y,
beginning in 2025.
