Aim-listed Premier African Minerals has reported new intersections of lithium at the Zulu lithium and tantalum project, in Zimbabwe.

Recent drilling activity on the southern part of the project area returned intersections including 21 m grading 1.23% lithium oxide and 920 parts per million (ppm) rubidium from 37.1 m; and 20.7 m grading 1.44% lithium oxide and 4 138 ppm rubidium from 21.6 m.

CEO George Roach says these intersections support the company’s expectations of further discoveries on the project and a likely increase in the mineral resource at some point.

Currently, Premier is focused on securing an investment partner for the project.
