Power & Electricity World Africa - the continent’s largest power and electricity show - takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 11-12 March 2014.

The show - a combination of conference, exhibition and series of seminars – is the leading market place and ideas exchange platform for African businesses and organisations hungry for innovative energy solutions. It brings together some of the biggest names in the regional power and energy industries and is a platform for thought leaders to showcase their solutions to Africa’s power and energy community.
Delegates at the 2014 event can expect to hear from more than 150 industry speakers who will join delegates in finding solutions to industry challenges, share strategies and investment opportunities, identify new partnerships and learn about new trends and developments in the power and energy sectors. More than 4500 visitors are expected to attend the two-day exhibition, with more than 250 delegates attending the conference.

Conference delegates will be able to choose from 72 free conference sessions under the categories power generation, solar, renewable energy, transmission and distribution.

They will learn about new projects and what is being done to open the door for investment in Africa. Among those presenting are the Energy Commission of Nigeria, SAPP, KenGEn; Zimbabwe Power Company; and the Botswana Power Corporation.

There is also a VIP conference where delegates will hear from keynote speakers and rub shoulders with industry leaders in interactive round table discussions.
