Project Description
The project entails the construction of a mini mill that will produce about 270 000 t/y of reinforcing steel, with diameters from 8 mm to 40 mm. Diameters of up to 12 mm will be rolled in multislit mode to improve productivity.

As a special feature of the new plant, billets will be directly charged in hot condition to the rolling mill, which will provide significant energy savings.
