TianREC is a joint venture between Shaanxi Non-Ferrous Tian Hong New Energy and REC Silicon Inc.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a new polysilicon plant, which will use REC Silicon’s next-generation fluidised-bed reactor technology.

The plant will have the capacity to produce 18 000 t of granular polysilicon, an additional 1 000 metric tons of Siemens polysilicon and 500 t of silane gas loading.

The project is expected to cost more than $1-billion.
