Plastic SA promotes Andrew Murray to Regional Manger: Western Cape

Plastics SA has recently promoted Andrew Murray to Regional Manager for the Western Cape and Gqeberha areas.
Andrew was appointed as Technical Trainer at the Western Cape regional office of Plastics SA in 2008. He holds a National Diploma in Plastics Technology which he obtained from Pretoria Technikon and a Management Development Diploma from Manchester Business School. He has been actively involved in the local plastics industry for the past thirty one years.
“Andrew’s promotion is part of our succession strategy and builds on the regional office’s past successes with renewed focus and energy. Our aim continues to be to offer our customers professional service and excellent quality training. This will equip their staff members with the necessary skills and practical experience to be better equipped for their jobs. In turn, this will help individual companies grow and compete with other local and international businesses,” explains Kirtida Bhana, Training Executive at Plastics SA.
Commenting on his promotion, Andrew says: “I am excited and motivated about the future growth of Plastics SA’s Western Cape branch. I trust that we will grow and expand our business as we move forward with our newly formed team”.
He describes himself as a committed family man and a proud husband and father of two sons. During his free time, Andrew enjoys playing golf and tennis as well as doing woodwork or baking his signature lemon meringue pie.
