A range of pivot wrenches backed by a lifetime customer-satisfaction guarantee, is available from leading retailers across South Africa.

The tools are designed and manufactured by Bondhus, a specialist in the industry for over 50 years. The Pivot Head Hex and TORX wrenches enable users to insert the wrench into a socket head screw only once, with the unique flip and spin feature allowing for pivoting around obstacles, explains the manufacturer.

The range includes the pivot, fixed and hinged sets as well as single units, which are designed to fit available tool bits. The tools are supplied with long handles for extra reach and are manufactured from heat-treated high quality industrial tool steel, with a matte chrome finish designed to prevent corrosion.

The tools are distributed by Vermont Sales, official agents for Bondhus in South Africa, who affirm that the wrenches are a “must” for every tool box and workshop, eliminating the need for users to remove tools to complete a full turn, allowing for a simple spin to get around obstacles, saving time and improving productivity and ease-of-use.

The Bondhus Hex Pro six-piece metric set (HP6-1C-35R) is available in 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm options.  All joints are engineered to be as small as possible without weakening the tool. Forged hinges are manufactured with the aim of using fewer pieces to make the wrenches stronger and more resilient to damage.
