PIC welcomes appointment of new board
Asset management firm the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has welcomed the announcement by Cabinet of the appointment of new members to the PIC board.
This follows the expiration of the term of the interim board on October 31, and will ensure there is continuity of governance.
The new board members are Dr David Masondo as chairperson, Frans Baleni, Ntombifuthi Mtoba, Tryphosa Ramano, Professor Bonke Dumisa, Esther Barbara Watson, Beverly Bouwer, Mongwena Mugwena Maluleke, Walter Hlaise, Lufuno Mulaudzi, Abel Sithole, Brian Mavuka and Makano Mosidi.
"The PIC looks forward to working with the new board to ensure the investment objectives of its clients are realised and that good corporate governance, ethical conduct and institutional integrity are further entrenched in the institution," the firm said in a statement on November 4.
