Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo).

Project Description
The revamp will increase current ammonia output at the Phu My fertiliser plant by 90 000 t/y from the current 450 000 t/y to 540 000 t/y.

Part of the ammonia produced will be used as direct feedstock for the Phu My nitrogen/phosphorous/potassium (NPK) plant, and the balance will meet domestic demand for ammonia.

The products of the Phu My NPK plant will replace most of the currently imported NPK.

Value
The project will involve a capital investment of $237-million, with 70% financed by bank loans and 30% through owner’s equity.

Duration
The project is expected to be brought into operation in the second quarter of 2017.
