The Phu Cuong project is located in Soc Trang province, and the Thai Hoa and Thai Phong wind farms in Binh Thuan province.

Client
Mainstream Renewable Power, together with local and international developers, will develop, build and operate three wind projects.

The Phu Cuong project will be executed by the Phu Cuong Group, in partnership with GE Energy Financial Services and Mainstream Renewable Power.

Mainstream will acquire a share in the Thai Hoa and Thai Phong wind farms, together with Pacific Corporation, the original developer.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of three wind projects – Phu Cuong, Thai Hoa and Thai Phong – with a combined capacity of about 940 MW.

Phu Cuong will be built over five phases and have a capacity of 800 MW.

Thai Hoa and Thai Phong will have a capacity of 83 MW and 55 MW respectively.
