Name of the Project
Paris silver project.

Location
Eyre Peninsula region of South Australia.

Project Owner/s
Investigator Resources.

Project Description
A prefeasibility study (PFS) released by Investigator Resources at the end of November 2021 has highlighted the low-risk nature of the high-grade, near surface, openpit project, with the base case showing a simple processing circuit with robust silver recoveries.

The project is supported by a large silver/lead deposit, with a mineral resource estimate of 18.8-million tonnes grading 88 g/t silver and 0.52% lead for 53.1-million ounces of silver and 97 600 t lead.

The PFS mine optimisations have been run on two silver price scenarios.

At $34.30/oz the PFS estimates production at 8.58-million tonnes of ore at an average grade of 128 g/t silver, producing 26.7-million ounces.

At $38/oz production is estimated at 10.91-million tonnes of ore at an average grade of 109 g/t silver, producing 29-million ounces.

The potential inclusion of a lead recovery circuit provides scope to improve the PFS base case.

Potential Job Creation
Not stated.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
The project has a pretax net present value of A$202-million to A$245-million and an internal rate of return of between 54.1% and 47.9%, with a payback period of about 2.3 to 2.8 years.

Capital Expenditure
The PFS estimates that the project can be brought into production for A$131-million of preproduction capital expenditure.

Planned Start/End Date
Not stated.

Latest Developments
The detailed PFS allows for Investigator to immediately start a definitive feasibility study.

The company will advance project financing initiatives in parallel with the technical and approvals workstream.
