Gold miner Pan African Resources expects to report an 87% to 97% increase in headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the year ended June 30.

The company expects to report HEPS of between $0.223 and $0.235.

Earnings per share (EPS) are expected to be between $0.22 and  $0.24, an increase of 12% to 22% year-on-year.

The improvement in EPS and HEPS are primarily a result of a 25.9% year-on-year increase in gold revenue to $273.7-million, predominantly owing to an increase in gold sold of 1.3% to 173 864 oz and the average gold price received increasing by 24.3% to $1 574/oz.
