Project Description
Project development will initially be based on the potential development of the nearby Annie gasfield, and later on the development of the Henry gasfields and nearby exploration prospects.
The Annie field is expected to more than double current production rates through the company’s Athena gas plant, and provide about five years of foundation life extension for the existing production assets.
The development is expected to allow for the tieback of successful low-risk, high-deliverability prospects.
Completion of the upgrade to the Athena gas plant and the cutover from the Iona gas plant to the Athena plant in December 2021 has secured available capacity and direct access to south-east Australia gas customers for Otway.

Latest Developments
A final investment decision on OP3D is targeted for the third quarter of 2023 and is subject to joint venture approval.
The assessment of the Annie 2C contingent resource estimate has been upgraded to 63.5 PJ2, and will be booked as 2P reserves when such a decision is made.
