Developers who wish to capitalize on the success of near sell-out of Izinga Estate, an offering within the Tongaat Hulett Development portfolio, now have a limited chance to do so.

Following the sales of all available single residential and development sites, within the current phases of this sought after estate on uMhlanga Ridge, there remain only two planned unit development (PUD) sites.

Four high end residential complexes have already been developed on PUD sites within the estate, providing desirable dwellings for home owners seeking a secure, lock-up-and-go environment in attractive and spacious natural surroundings.

“These last remaining PUD sites at Izinga are an attractive option as these sites are fully serviced and set within an already established community – the developer has the opportunity of benefiting from the capital appreciation already realised in the surrounding Estate. These sites present themselves as a rare investment opportunity as development sites here are diminishing,” said Andile Mnguni, Development Executive at Tongaat Hulett Developments.

The two PUDs that are available in Izinga’s open suburb are both in excess of 4000 m2 and providing for 17 and 18 units and a construction period limited to four years.

Izinga’s architectural style combines russet tiled roofs with a muted paint palette of natural shades, incorporating organic stone and wooden features.

“These parameters still allow enough flexibility for developers to apply fresh and original concepts to the building designs and to create distinctive new homes which will enhance and complement the estate,” he said.

“It is hard to ignore the many attractions of Izinga. Current residents take full advantage of its ideal location and ease of access with all desirable amenities on their doorstep. Among these are Gateway Theatre of Shopping, King Shaka International Airport and – for those with families – the popular beaches of Umhlanga and sought-after schools such as Crawford College and Reddam College.”

“Add to this the tranquil open surroundings created by natural indigenous landscaping and you have a bouquet of benefits that is hard to match,” Mnguni concluded. “This is gracious living at its best – an excellent lifestyle choice for the modern family.”
