Old Plantation Club redevelopment, Seychelles
Name and Location
Old Plantation Club redevelopment, Seychelles.
Project Description
The redevelopment of the old Plantation Club property entails the development of three new premier (five-star) resorts, and two new luxury (four-star) resorts.
The four-star component of the project will make use of the existing structures on site as much as possible; however, they will be substantially reworked to offer better views of the natural environment and improved facilities, which will include a 138-suite hotel; a public casino; a marine rehabilitation, education and aquarium centre; a spa and wellness centre; as well as additional public and entertainment areas, including shops, restaurants, sports facilities, discos, a cinema, and the like. The five-star component of the project is to include two separate boutique facilities - the Mountainside Lodge and Beac. The Mountainside Lodge will include a 40-villa boutique hotel and resort, while the beachfront hotel will include a 15-villa boutique hotel and resort.
The private housing villa will see the development of 20 private mountain villas (linked to the Mountainside Lodge); five private beach villas (linked to the beachfront hotel); and one premier villa (located on the eastern boundary of the property and linked to the beachfront hotel).
