The Okpella cement factory will have a production capacity of 2.5-million tons a year and will include a new estimated 45 MW gas turbine power plant.

Latest Developments
Siemens Energy has been awarded an order for three of its model SGT-500 gas turbine models.
These industrial turbines will be deployed for electric power generation at the Okpella cement plant, providing the added benefit of low emissions.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for spring 2014.
