Project Description
Odd Job is an ultra deep-water field in Mississippi Canyon, off the shore of New Orleans, in water depths ranging from 1 330 m to 1 825 m.

The development will result in a system that allows for production from the MC 215 No 1 well at a peak rate of 15 000 bbl/d and 12-million cubic feet a day. Bulk oil and gas will be processed and metered on the Delta House floating production system (FPS) and sold through existing oil and gas export pipelines.

DGE II is considering additional wells in the Odd Job field.

Technip has been awarded a lump sum contract by DGE II to develop the Odd Job oil- and gasfield. The contract entails project management and engineering services; the fabrication and installation of about 23 km of pipe-in-pipe flowline and about 2 km of steel catenary riser (SCR); the design, fabrication and installation of an in-line sled and flowline end termination; the fabrication of a jumper; and precommissioning of the flowline and SCR system.
