Wearing gloves in non-medical environments can have a number of benefits, such as reducing the risks of infection by means of touch and reduced skin irritation as a result of frequent hand washing or sanitizing.

Re-usable nylon gloves are said to offer a range of advantages over the use of disposable gloves, including lower cost, improved comfort and puncture and tear-resistant material.

NR3006 nitrile coated nylon gloves from Aquila are designed to offer the benefits of low-cost hand protection while providing a robust, long-lasting and comfortable alternative to disposable gloves for general non-medical situations. The company highlights that the light-weight nylon liner of its NR3006 gloves allows for improved ventilation or ‘breathability’, reducing fatigue and enabling a good grip and improved dexterity. The gloves feature nitrile-coated palms and may be frequently cleaned while in use and laundered between wearing and are also chemical and abrasion-resistant, making them suitable for a variety of handling and personal interaction tasks.

The company’s range of coated gloves includes a variety of dips and finishes, such as latex, nitrile or sand. By dipping the whole glove or just the fingers and palm in a coating, the company aims to achieve a balance between grip, protection, dexterity and all-day comfort.
