Location
Northern Natural Gas Company plans to build and operate certain interstate natural gas facilities in Freeborn, in Washington; the Scott, Sherburne and Stearns counties, in Minnesota; and Monroe County, in Wisconsin, all in the US.

Project Description
The project proposes the construction of six new pipeline segments (four pipeline extensions and two pipeline loops), totalling about 16 km and ranging from 10 cm to 91 cm in diameter.
Northern also proposes the construction of four new valve settings, the abandonment and removal of two existing valve settings, and modifications at six existing aboveground facilities.
The project will provide up to 44 222 dekatherms a day of incremental winter peak day transportation service to Northern’s residential, commercial and industrial customer market, and 6 667 dekatherms a day of additional firm service that will allow for enhanced reliability and flexibility in providing natural gas transportation capacity for power generation.
