New shareholding structure for road transport company
South African logistics road transport company Concargo Global Logistics and Concargo Distribution (Concargo Group) have added Nathi Chonco as a shareholder partner who will manage the growth of the business with company founder and MD David Kruyer.
As a supply chain and logistics industry veteran, Chonco brings his financial and transport industry expertise to his role as a director of Concargo Group, which will help Concargo during its high-growth period and to expand its role in the industry.
“Nathi has outstanding credentials and is a great fit for this important position. As a medium-sized company, we recognised that we needed someone like him to develop our corporate and offshore business. His corporate, financial and leadership experience, as well as his expertise in the transport and financial industries, will serve us well,” says Kruyer.
Chonco is also a director of Vunani Fund Managers and a nonexecutive director of fuel supplier Total Client Services and chairperson of its social and ethics committee.
Concargo Group was founded in 1987 by Kruyer and, over the past 26 years, the business has established itself as a recognised brand and vital link in the supply chain in Southern Africa, he says.
Concargo Group’s network and service offerings include abnormal load haulage, national and cross-border road haulage, the supply of mobile cranes, warehousing solutions and mission-critical logistics.
