JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) - Minerals research and development organisation Mintek on Thursday said Johannes Baloyi would head up its analytical services division (ASD).

Baloyi, who was appointed in December, was tasked with managing the division’s service delivery, research planning, administration, safety, health, environment and quality.

The former SGS South Africa spectroscopy and precious metals manager was also required to improve the unit’s performance and quality systems, while benchmarking divisional activities to the industry.
