SAF is expected to be an effective way of reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

TotalEnergies and ENEOS Corporation plan to conduct a feasibility study to assess the potential production of SAF from ENEOS' Negishi refinery.

The proposed project will have the capacity to produce 300 000 t/y of SAF from waste or residue sourced from the circular economy.
