Murra Warra will be one of the biggest wind farms in the southern hemisphere when completed.
The project entails the construction of 116 state-of-the-art wind turbines.
The wind farm will provide up to 420 MW of generation capacity and produce enough electricity to power the equivalent of up to 248 000 households in Victoria and avoid the emission of more than 1.3-million tonnes of greenhouse gases a year.
Jobs to Be Created
The project will create direct and indirect employment opportunities for up to 610 people during construction and up to 15 people once the facility is operational.
