Lachlan Reynolds has resigned as CEO of Australia- and Canada-focused explorer MTM Critical Metals with immediate effect.

Reynolds served as MD since the company’s listing in July 2021 until moving the position of CEO in April this year.

Steve Ragiel was appointed president and MD of MTM’s US subsidiary Flash Metals in April 2024. He will continue in that role to minimise disruption to the business, MTM says.

The company will review its human resources requirements in relation to its exploration operations before the end of Reynolds tenure.

Reynolds will remain with MTM over the coming months to ensure an orderly transition. He will subsequently continue to provide services as an exploration consultant.

MTM is an explorer searching for niobium and rare earth elements in Western Australia and Quebec.
