The Acti 9 series is a high performance modular system, which comprises low-voltage devices including circuit breakers, contactors, industrial switches, and energy meters. It is designed to provide core protection during maintenance and operation in even the most demanding networks and environments in building management and panel-building applications.

The advanced technologies and features employed within the system enable installations to be completed more safely, efficiently, and simply. The VisiSafe(tm) feature guarantees the downstream circuit is always safe, regardless of overvoltage conditions, wear, or operator experience.  The Class 2 front face on the Acti 9 circuit breaker is the only device available with this level of safety, providing clearance between the breaker surfaces and internal parts that are more than double the industry standard.

Designed to optimise efficiency, the VisiTrip(tm) feature detects individual faults in the network, allowing fast diagnosis and resolution to minimise downtime, ensuring high continuity of service and electrical immunity, particularly important in critical power applications in hospitals and data centres, for example.

Acti 9 simplifies final distribution operations in buildings and industrial facilities, providing a flexible, scalable system that is able to adapt to new installation standards or building requirements. Acti 9 miniature circuit breakers comply with IEC/EN 947 IEC/EN 947 and IEC/EN 898. The system is easy to install and operate: cabling is safer and easier due to a double termination connection and up to 50 per cent less wiring. The ergonomic interface provides enhanced readability, and secure connections are enabled via safe IP2-B terminals shutters. A range of tailored accessories is available, including a padlock system, splitter block, and sealable terminal shields.
