The Mobility Centre for Africa has just confirmed an exciting line up of speakers, who include experts and thought leaders in the field of transport and mobility. These speakers are expected to present their predictions on how transport and mobility will evolve over the next four decades to 2055.

This milestone coincides with the City of Ekurhuleni’s Strategic Vision contained in its blue print: Growth and Development Strategy 2055. This blueprint is anchored on 5 strategic themes that seek to “Re-urbanise”, “Re-industrialise”, “Re-generate”, “Re-mobilise” and “Re-govern” the region into becoming a “Sustainable City”.

“For Mobility Centre for Africa (MCA), we plan to bring together government, industry and academia to collaboratively develop solutions that will deal with the nation’s wicked problems of Road Crashes, Congestion, Emission of Greenhouse Gases and Affordability.” Says Mr Duncan Mason, Chairman of MCA.
