Project Description
The project includes the acquisition and operation of a 144-km-long water pipeline that transports 110 678 m3/d, supplying seawater 60 km north of Minera Centinela, in Michilla.
The project also includes the construction and operation of a new 144-km-long pipeline parallel to the existing pipeline with a capacity of 56 333 m3/d, which will provide seawater, facilitate the planned expansion of the mine and enable Minera Centinela to continue its mining activities without compromising local freshwater resources.
