Project Description
The project involves the construction of JGC’s second mega solar PV power generation project, in Japan.

The solar PV power plant will be built on 360 000 m2 of land, owned by Taiyo Kogyo Corporation.

The plant will have a power generating capacity of about 31 000 kW, enough to power about 11 000 Japanese households.

The power will be sold to Tokyo Electric Power Company under Japan’s feed-in tariff system.

Value
¥10-billion, which will be provided through a project finance contract involving Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, the Chiba Bank and the Joyo Bank.
