Mauritius crude oil refinery project.
Project Description
The project proposes to build an oil refinery on the island of Mauritius, off the coast of Southern Africa. The facility will process crude oil from Africa, mainly for export to India.
Value
$2-billion. It will be partly funded by the Mauritian government and India’s Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (MRPL).
Duration
The refinery is planned to be operational by the end of 2014.

The government of Mauritius, represented by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
