The decision to invest in the goniophotometer was an easy one for Magnitech, who prides themselves on product excellence and quality lighting solutions. The meter will provide accurate measurements of luminous flux, luminous distribution intensity, flicker, CRI, and several other variables, ensuring Magnitech’s product offering remains cutting edge and innovative.

The goniophotometer is a complete light measurement solution, which covers all light sources and measures the full 3D distribution field of any lamp or luminaire, whilst providing comprehensive LDT and IES simulation files.

Equipped with a spectrometer sensor and a built-in power analyzer, the unique technology enables highly accurate measurements, making other equipment such as an integration sphere redundant. Additional benefits of the meter include distribution measurements of correlated colour temperature and colour uniformity.

With the rapid and ever-changing evolution of LED technology, Magnitech’s investment into state-of-the-art R&D equipment will contribute significantly to ensure their proudly South African products remain revolutionary and that Magnitech retains its position as industry leaders in industrial lighting solutions.
