Project Description
Located 24 km off the shore of Angola’s Cabinda province in 60 m of water, the Mafumeira Sul project is the second-stage development of the Mafumeira field, located in Block 0.
The project scope includes 50 wells, two wellhead platforms, a central processing and compression facility, as well as an estimated 121 km of subsea pipelines.
Mafumeira Sul peak production will build up to 110 000 bbl/d of crude oil and 10 000 bbl/d of liquid petroleum gas.
Associated natural gas will be commercialised through the Angola liquefied natural gas plant in Soyo, Angola.

$5.6-billion.
Duration
Mafumeira Sul is expected to reach first oil in 2015.
