Font size: - +

A locally manufactured insulated impact traffic door, that complies with all relevant safety, health, environment and quality standards, is now available.

The doors are manufactured to meet specific opening requirements and are designed for use in areas where the movement of pedestrians and goods is particularly high.

The Apex SR 9000 door is manufactured from a 3 mm acrylonitrile butadiene styrene skin that retains its physical properties down to temperatures of minus 5 °C, making it suitable for walk-in cold rooms and similar refrigerated applications. In addition, the skin is impervious to moisture, acids, petroleum products, animal fats, rodents, insects and salt solutions.

The door is further insulated with the injection of  high density, non-chlorofluorocarbon urethane foam into the hollow shell of the door.

Standard vision panels constructed from 3 mm clear polycarbonate sheeting are available in a number of custom sizes. The door is also available without vision panels.

Additional features include scratch resistance and uniform building code compatibility, with a choice of six colours.

Apex Strip Curtains & Doors has a network of agents throughout South Africa, offering technical and installation support for the Apex SR 9000 door.
