PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Lithium Australia has agreed to the sale of its Emu Lake exploration tenement, in Western Australia.

The company on Wednesday said that it had reached an agreement with junior explorer Metal Hawk, which is currently undertaking an initial public offering on the ASX, with the aim of starting share trading in December.

Once Metal Hawk has been successfully listed, the junior would issue Lithium Australia with 300 000 shares, at a deemed issue price of 20c each.

While Metal Hawk would own the Emu Lake tenement, Lithium Australia would retain the lithium rights to the property.

In addition to Emu Lake, Metal Hawk also holds the Kanowna East and Clinker Hill exploration projects, some 70 km from Kalgoorlie.
