In 2016, the LiSEC service and training teams have moved into a new building, which was officially opened on April 29th. The employees of the departments service and assembly did not only get a new home, LiSEC will from now on hold high-quality courses on state-of-the-art plants for customers and its own staff in this new building.

After a really remarkable construction time – the ground-breaking ceremony took place on August 4th, 2015 and the employees already moved in January 2016 – the new service and training center of the LiSEC Group was officially opened at the production site Seitenstetten on April 29th. The world market leader for solutions for the processing of flat glass invested approximately 4.5 million Euros for the 1,200 m² sized hall and the 950 m² size office building. Peter Rattinger, head of service: „ We will grow at a disproportionate rate in the divisions service, training and assembly. This new building was absolutely necessary in order to enable this growth and to provide our customers and own staff with high-quality, varied courses. The LiSEC slogan‚ best in glass processing‘ also applies to our divisions service and training!“

The training hall accommodates the latest generation of all essential processing machines and software packages by LiSEC. Installed is a shuttle system, an insulating glass line (incl. special forms, with VSA double applicator head and 4-fold step elements), processing machines KBF and KSR, a cutting line with composite cutting and free-fall loading, a frame-bending plant BSV 45 ANK as well as a butylating machine LBH AR. Rattinger: „In this hall, we have installed ‚the best of LiSEC‘ – the very latest machines and plants with all possible options. It is hard to imagine a better course and training environment. This approach is emphasized by the modern, high-quality architecture.“

In the directly adjacent office wing there are approximately 40 work places as well as training rooms with a direct access to the machine hall. Rattinger: “We will in particular further expand the online support. We will not only augment the teams but are also installing a new phone system, which enables us to work still more efficiently and customer-oriented.“

Trainings take place in Seitenstetten since March. There are different modules to choose from; also tailor-made training units are possible. New since recently are software courses as well as courses with an emphasis on maintenance. So far, those courses could only be held directly at the customers’ premises. For additional information about our courses and dates, please see www.lisec.com or contact us.
