Krish Naidoo practised as a human rights lawyer in Johannesburg in the 1980s. This book records his life, the political trials he was involved in and his activities in sport, culture and the legal fraternity.

Foreword by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

My relationship with comrade Krish Naidoo goes back to 1983 during the historic formation of the United Democratic Front. Krish is among those profound human rights lawyers who dedicated their lives for the freedom and the dignity of our people. His rich memoir will contribute immensely as a reservoir of knowledge to the many generations to come. I wish he writes more about the glorious history of the struggle of the people of our country against the racist apartheid colonialism and our collective effort to build a better future for humanity. – E.S. Magashule, Secretary General African National Congress

Krish Naidoo dedicated his legal skills to seek justice for those whom our justice system condemned out of malice. He was a people’s lawyer before we won freedom from apartheid. – Jessie Duarte, Deputy secretary General African National Congress
