Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 1 075 MW coal-fired power plant.

On completion the plant will have an efficiency of 45.6% and thus become one of the most modern of its kind in the world.

The high net efficiency not only provides a considerably greater capacity than those existing power plants, but also saves on valuable resources and reduces specific carbon dioxide emissions, compared with older power plants.

€1.54-billion.

Duration
Work on the project began in 2012 and completion of construction is planned for the second half of 2017.

Hitachi Power Europe and partner Polimex-Mostostal will build the plant.
