The project is located on Keyal Khwar, a right bank tributary of the Indus river, in Lower Kohistan district, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Project Description
The project will comprise the construction of a 37.5-m-high concrete gravity dam with a gross head of 732 m.

The hydropower plant will have an installed capacity of 128 MW.
