Finnish mining and battery chemical company Keliber has appointed Markus Kivimäki its deputy CEO.

He will be responsible for Keliber's legal affairs, administration and business development.

Kivimäki will join Keliber no later than the spring of 2022 from Nordkalk, where he is currently managing legal, real estate and management system organisations.

He has previously worked as CEO of Tantalus Rare Earths and in senior management positions at Elcoteq and Aldata Solution.

“I have come to know Markus Kivimäki as a highly professional leader and an experienced lawyer. I am happy that Markus has decided to give his input into developing Keliber, now when the company is entering into the next development phase,” comments CEO Hannu Hautala.
