Project Description
KalNorth Gold Mines has approved a scoping study for the development of a 500 000 t/y to one-million-tonne-a-year modular processing plant to process ore from its KalNorth gold field, in Western Australia, comprising Mt Jewell, Linsday’s, Kalpini and Kurnalpi, all 50 km to 80 km north of Kalgoorlie.
The aim of the study is to determine mining opportunities, the initial location of the plant and its economics under various conditions. The plant will be modular in design. The study will also include the possibility of the plant accepting ore from other potential producers.
