The project entails the addition of 470 MW of wind power capacity to the state of Iowa through the two projects.
The Upland Prairie site will have a 300 MW capacity, operating 121 platform-type, 2 MW turbines.
The English Farms will have an installed capacity 170 MW.
Together, the wind farms will power the equivalent of 180 000 homes in Iowa.
