Project Description
The project aims to build a plant that will produce 7 800 t/y of low-carbon hydrogen and 25 000 t/y of low-carbon synthesis gas (syngas), as well as capture and reuse carbon dioxide, consequently reducing greenhouse-gas emissions by 120 000 t/y.
The hydrogen and syngas, produced with energy from renewable sources, will be used to decarbonise processes at Sasol’s and Sonatrach’s production sites.
