Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 720-bed capacity hospital, including a general-practice centre and Santo Tomás, an adjoining maternity hospital.

Once completed, the new hospital complex will include more than 165 000 m2 of new con­struction, as well as 5 700 m2 of rehabilitated space.

The Hospital del Niño will cover over 94 000 m2, offering 476 beds and 14 operating theatres. The complex will also have 700 parking spaces available across 24 000 m2.

Santo Tomás will have a 244-bed capacity, 14 opera­ting theatres and 30 delivery rooms.

Latest Developments
Acciona has been awarded the contract to build, equip and maintain the new Hospital del Niño.

It will also assume responsibility for the restoration services of the facility’s gardens, and the refurbishment of the administrative services building, as well as other adjacent facilities.
