High‑performance grease for diverse industrial applications
SKF LGCC 2 general‑purpose grease is specially engineered to ensure water resistance and rugged protection against corrosion. In addition, its low‑temperature fluidity helps ensure consistent performance across a range of lubrication systems exposed to medium and low temperatures.
“The versatility of this grease is amplified by its proven resilience, with sub‑zero environments, which commonly challenge conventional lubricants, posing no hindrance to its superior performance,” states SKF product manager: MaPro Eddie Martens.
“Its superior water‑resistant properties prevent washout in humid or wet environments, while its outstanding corrosion protection extends component life and reduces maintenance demands and subsequent related costs,” he explains.
For industries that require reliable equipment performance in cold, wet and corrosive conditions, such as construction, forestry and agricultural machinery and equipment, collector trucks and chassis systems, the grease is said to be especially effective in non-rolling bearing components such as hinges, joints, articulations, linkages and slow-rotating sliding bearings or bushings.
The product offers a five‑year shelf life and is available in three pack sizes, namely a 420 ml cartridge that suits precise, targeted applications, an 18 kg pail to support mid‑size operations and a 180 kg drum built for large‑scale industrial use.
SKF’s LGCC 2 grease is engineered to deliver protection for a broad scope of lubrication systems operating in sub‑zero temperatures, wet environments and corrosive settings, to help safeguard critical assets and support uninterrupted operations.
