Andritz has received an order from steel producer Nucor to supply turnkey production lines for the cold-rolling mill complex.
Andritz will supply a high-performance push pickling line with line speeds of up to 200 m/min for pickling hot-rolled carbon steel.
Its scope of work includes in-house electrics and automation, a multiroll leveller for shape correction and a four-high skin pass mill.
The order also comprises a reduction cold-rolling mill and a temper-rolling mill in four-high design, including reduction mode.
