Project Description
The project is a former producing mine with a large portion of the necessary infrastructure in place, and comprises a large openpit carbon-in-leach (CIL) gold development.
A preliminary economic assessment has indicated that anchoring entirely on a CIL processing facility adds significant value, primarily through higher gold recoveries, compared to conventional heap-leach processing and reduces recovery risk.
The study envisions the construction of a 10 000 t/d CIL plant on site.
The project has an initial mine life of about ten years, with gold production of about 130 000 oz/y, following production ramp-up.
Conventional openpit truck (10 to 12 trucks) and loader (4 loaders) mining methods will be used, moving about 40-million tonnes a year during steady-state production.

At a gold price of $2 175/oz, the project has a pretax net present value, at a 5% discount rate, of $581.3-million and an internal rate of return of 30%.
Capital Expenditure
Mine construction and sustaining capital over the life-of-mine is estimated at $292.4-million.
Planned Start/End Date
Construction is expected to start in early 2028, subject to obtaining the necessary permits by December 31, 2027.
Latest Developments
A feasibility study is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
