Project Description
A scoping study completed on the Goongarrie Lady gold project has shown the project to be technically viable. The project has a Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant mineral resource of 270 000 t at 2.86 g/t gold for 25 280 oz, at a 1g/t gold cutoff grade.
The study envisages oxide and transitional material being accessed through a shallow openpit mine producing 142 000 t at a diluted grade of 3.4 g/t gold for 15 639 oz over a seven-month mine life.
Ore processing at 94% recovery will produce an estimated 14 700 oz.
According to the scoping study, a mining contractor will conduct the mining activities using conventional truck-and-shovel operations, with technical and managerial supervision provided by Intermin.
Ore will be milled at a third-party processing facility.
