Project description
The Gimboa field is 85 km off the Angolan coast in Block 4/05, at a water depth of 700 m.
When completed, the converted tanker will have an oil storage capacity of 1,8-million barrels and a production capacity of 60 000 bbl/d.
The project consists of three production, and four water-injection subsea wells, clustered around a central manifold and tied back to a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facility.
