Project Description
The proposed project could see the development of a 140 MW gas-fired power plant, the output of which will be consumed within the country. The facility will be developed as an independent power producer. The driver of the investment into the power plant is a commitment by Sasol that 27-million gigajoules of the 183-million gigajoules now being produced at the onshore Pande and Temane facilities will be consumed inside Mozambique.
