TSX-V-listed FPX Nickel has appointed a leading figure in the global nickel industry, Stuart Harshaw, to its board of directors.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, including positions such as VP of marketing and operations for Asia Pacific and VP, Ontario Operations for Vale, FPX Nickel believes Harshaw will play a critical role in advancing its flagship project.

“As a recognised leader in the global nickel industry, he will play a critical role in helping us to advance our flagship Baptiste deposit at the Decar nickel district, fostering the ongoing development of relationships with key strategic players in the nickel market, including offtakers, trading companies and major mining companies,” said chairperson Peter Bradshaw.

The company is advancing the Baptiste deposit at the Decar nickel district, north-west of Fort St James, in central British Columbia.
